I am a stay-at-home mom of three beautiful girls. I have a wonderful husband who works hard. After 7 years of marriage, we were finally able to buy ahouse in '06. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill since then. We were only able to afford an older house & it came with problems. Our roof leaks, it has old wiring (I cannot have a dryer), leaky windows, and we love it. Sounds great, huh? Well, we are on the verge of losing everything right now. Last year was not a good year. My husband fell & bruised some ribs, so he missed work and we had to pay his medical bills, not to mention the adjustments we had to make for the house... We had no stove, had to make some minor renovations, clean up the lead paint, etc.  THEN, I started having hip pain & had medical bills myself. My husband make enough to pay the bills, barely, but due to our troubles last year we had to take on some unexpected credit that we are having a TERRIBLE time paying. We haven't been able to buy much for ourselves, thus our clothes are falling apart, my kids need socks, my middle child needs a new winter coat. I suffer from depression & all of this stress is making me sick, literally.. i have developed an ulcer, panic attacks, and an almost agoraphobic fear. If you can help, we would appreciate it, any help at all.
